About this tool
Merge multiple PDF files into one, split out selected pages, or rotate pages — all inside your browser. Upload any number of PDFs, reorder them with the arrow buttons, and choose exactly which pages to include from each file using a page range like 1-3,5,7-9. The page detail overlay lets you select individual pages and rotate them in 90° increments.
Example: Upload chapter1.pdf (pages 1–10) and chapter2.pdf (pages 1–15). Enter 1-5,10 for the first file and 1-3 for the second, then click Merge — the result contains 8 pages: 1–5 and 10 from the first document, then 1–3 from the second.
All processing happens in your browser using the pdf-lib library — your files never upload to any server.
FAQ
How large can my PDF files be? ›
The tool works entirely in your browser's memory. Very large files (hundreds of pages or hundreds of MB) may cause the tab to run out of memory. For typical documents under 50 MB the tool works smoothly.
Can I merge PDFs that have different page sizes? ›
Yes. Each page retains its original dimensions in the merged output. Letter, A4, and mixed sizes work fine — PDF viewers handle different page sizes within one document.
What does the page range syntax mean? ›
Use comma-separated page numbers and dashes for ranges. Example: <code>1-3,5,7-9</code> means pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9. Leave the field empty to include all pages from that file.
Does the rotated page stay rotated in the downloaded PDF? ›
Yes. Rotation is applied directly to the page in the PDF file — your PDF viewer will display the page at the rotation you chose, just as if you had used a desktop editor.
