About this tool
The Image Cropper lets you trim images visually — draw a selection rectangle on your image, adjust it with drag handles, and download the cropped result in PNG, JPEG, or WebP format. Everything happens locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
This tool is useful when you need to:
- Crop a screenshot to the relevant area before sharing
- Trim a photo to a specific aspect ratio (square for social media, 16:9 for thumbnails)
- Remove unwanted edges from a product image or scan
- Extract a headshot from a group photo
Example: Upload a 1920×1080 screenshot, select a 1200×800 area, download as a clean PNG — no extra tooling required.
